WHAT Are TMBUK2 STEAM LABS?
Most of our young learners are accustomed to the workings of traditional learning environments: sitting at desks; putting pencils to paper; listening to teacher lectures; and remembering and regurgitating.
S.T.E.A.M. (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics) Labs provide an opportunity for young learners to deviate from the usual learning routines in favour of more hands-on, engaging and active learning experiences. Less talking and more doing is our motto here.
S.T.E.A.M. Labs in Schools
With the ever changing environment of education TMBUK2 S.T.E.A.M. Labs provides supplementary hands-on experiences for students that foster ingenuity, innovation and creativity. Each S.T.E.A.M Lab has been uniquely designed to align with various strands in the Ontario Science, Mathematics, Arts and Language Arts curricula while providing an engaging and eco-sustainable learning experience.

S.T.E.A.M. Lab in the Community
Our community S.T.E.A.M. Labs are workshops offered to young S.T.E.A.M.gineers and S.T.E.A.M. enthusiasts in Kindergarten through grade 8. These labs include hands-on S.T.E.A.M. activities and challenges focusing on designing, creating and collaborating with like-minded peers.
