Welcome to the Primary Girls' Literacy Club, a captivating haven designed exclusively for curious young minds aged 6 to 8. Our club is a vibrant tapestry that weaves together the magic of reading, the art of discussion, and the excitement of hands-on STEAM activities, nurturing a love for learning that will illuminate their futures. In this Literacy Club learners should expect to: • Receive and read engaging novels and texts • Participate in thoughtfully moderated discussions, dialogues and/or debates • Complete and collaborate in literacy activities that cater to varying intelligences and abilities • Conduct STEAM activities, experiments, or observations • Develop motivation, confidence and critical thinking skills Notes and Terms • This literacy club consists of 8 one hour sessions • Literacy Kits include novel(s) and activity materials • Schedule is final and sessions cannot be rescheduled • Fee for literacy club is non-refundable
