Poetry in Motion

Current Events
We've been isolated for so long that it can be easy to overlook or simply miss out on significant events in the world. The Current Events course is what the title implies, learning about current events in the world. In each session, learners will be exposed to different texts about a current event in the world. Through dialogue, debates, seminars and other interactive exchanges learners will learn to take a critical approach when analyzing texts.
Note: Parents should be aware that this course may expose learners may be exposed to beliefs that differ from that of other learners and families. Learners will always have the right to pass and/or not participate in any discourse if they feel uncomfortable.
